    A day in the life of a TMR technician.

    Wondering what it would be like to be a TMR technician? Here’s a peek behind the curtain.

    You’ll start your day with your TMR branded van and uniform to make a great first impression on TMR customers.
    Throughout each day, you’ll visit 3-4 job sites, working on a wide range of foodservice equipment inside of restaurants, convenience stores, schools and other institutions, from independent companies to your favorite national brands.
    You’ll access the latest technology to complete your job efficiently, such as GPS dispatching that assigns the closest available tech to the job, and the proprietary TMR mobile app for completing work orders, accessing resources and connecting with senior technicians virtually for assistance in the field.
    You’ll draw on your Tech24 University training, which includes various opportunities to grow your skills and advance.

    Tech24 University

    When you join the TMR family, we make sure that you get the expert training you need to excel through Tech24 University’s training programs.

    Based on a combination of CFESA principles and practical field experience from our 40+ years in the industry, Tech24 University provides entry- through advanced level instruction in gas, steam and refrigeration commercial appliances. Upon graduation, you will meet specific standards for service and repair work on commercial foodservice equipment.

    Our classes create a high-intensity, immersive learning experience that is significantly more effective than the old “ride and learn” approach with a maximum of 12 students. You’ll learn how to excel under pressure, troubleshoot and solve customer problems, with an emphasis on improving equipment reliability and uptime.
